Our guests from Saudi Arabia and the company Slingshot recently embarked on an adventure to experience the breathtaking beauty of Norway’s Rogaland region.
The Stavanger-based company Slingshot hosted a large group of visitors from Saudi Arabia and wanted to showcase the natural wonders the region has to offer. To make this experience unforgettable, they enlisted the help of Troll Adventure.
On the day of the hike, guides Stian and Gerten started early at 8:00 AM, leading a group of 25 enthusiastic and delightful participants. The journey up to Pulpit Rock, or Preikestolen as it’s known locally, was taken at a leisurely pace, allowing ample time for photo stops, the forging of new friendships, and the sharing of fascinating stories.

Pulpit Rock offers a spectacular view over the Lysefjord, a stunning fjord known for its steep cliffs and deep blue waters. The sight of Lysefjord is always a highlight and provides a perfect backdrop for memorable photographs.
As the group made their way up the rocky paths and staircases, the first glimpse of Lysefjord was met with excitement. This awe-inspiring view is a testament to Norway’s rugged beauty and never fails to impress.
Despite the physical challenge, the group remained in high spirits. The climb, which culminates just 650 meters from the top, was rewarding in more ways than one. Reaching the summit of Pulpit Rock, the participants were greeted with a panoramic view that stretched across the fjord, creating a sense of accomplishment and unity.
